WHO WE ARE
KIPP Academy Boston Middle School is the third KIPP school in the KIPP Massachusetts region and the first in the city of Boston. The school opened in Fall 2012 with a founding class of 72 fifth graders, focusing on the Mattapan and Dorchester neighborhoods. We are a free, open enrollment public charter school, open to students living in Boston.
Our mission is to create an environment where the students of Boston, MA will develop the academic skills, intellectual habits, and character traits necessary to maximize their potential in high school, college, and the world beyond.
If your child is currently in 4th grade (during the 2012-2013 school year), and lives in the city of Boston, he/she is eligible to apply for the 5th grade lottery.
The KIPP Academy Boston Lottery for 2013 5th Grade seats will take place in the spring of 2013
