WHO WE ARE
KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate (“KALC”) - the second school in the KIPP Massachusetts region – was founded in 2011 with a class of 96 ninth graders. Although there are 125 KIPP schools across the country, only 18 of them are high schools, and KALC is one! We will grow one grade per year until we reach a full 9th-12th grade high school in school year 2014-2015.
Our mission is to create an environment where the students of Lynn, MA will develop the academic skills, intellectual habits, and character traits necessary to maximize their potential in high school, college, and the world beyond.
